So here it is, my first blog post!

And it's a cry for help. We've got a pumpkin to carve for halloween, but have no idea what to do with all the insides...... Any ideas?!

I promise to post pictures of the suggestion we choose when we've made it;

over to you!

  1. congrats on your new blog! i'm not much of a cook but last year, my niece and nephews and i took all the seeds and spread them on a cookie sheet - next we sprinkled them with olive oil and a bit of sea salt and roasted them in the oven at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes, until they were toasted...they were DELICIOUS! since i wouldn't know where to begin to make a pie, we put the rest of the gooey bits in a bowl and left it on the porch for the racoons ~ next morning, viola, 'clean' bowl and happy racoons! happy halloween! xo karon

  2. Yay, Sam! Congrats on new inspire me to get back to mine. Pumpkin-innards wise I would go with Karon's idea above! ..except for the part about the racoons! I juat googled How to Make Pie from a Jack of Lantern..and there is a recipe- albeit with provisos about using another kind of pumpkin!!

  3. Hooray for your new blog! Congrats!

    Now just don't leave this poor pumpkin feeling lonesome and lonely for too long ....... I expect to see regular updates. I hear that setting yourself targets is always good! ;D xxxx
