Pumpkin!

So here it is, my first blog post!

And it's a cry for help. We've got a pumpkin to carve for halloween, but have no idea what to do with all the insides...... Any ideas?!

I promise to post pictures of the suggestion we choose when we've made it;

over to you!

  1. congrats on your new blog! i'm not much of a cook but last year, my niece and nephews and i took all the seeds and spread them on a cookie sheet - next we sprinkled them with olive oil and a bit of sea salt and roasted them in the oven at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes, until they were toasted...they were DELICIOUS! since i wouldn't know where to begin to make a pie, we put the rest of the gooey bits in a bowl and left it on the porch for the racoons ~ next morning, viola, 'clean' bowl and happy racoons! happy halloween! xo karon

  2. Yay, Sam! Congrats on new blog..you inspire me to get back to mine. Pumpkin-innards wise I would go with Karon's idea above! ..except for the part about the racoons! I juat googled How to Make Pie from a Jack of Lantern..and there is a recipe- albeit with provisos about using another kind of pumpkin!!
